Liquid Fusion (R) Records
Liquid Fusion (R) is energy. Writing / producing / playing music with spirit / love of life. Our motto: "Good energy coming together."
In the mid 80's, working in a film studio as a Director's Asst, I learned the art of editing video to music making commercials. Every beat was critical. Every action on picture had to be reasoned with charge from the melody. A short film had to tell a lifetime story in 15 or 30 seconds. Amazing experience: working on a Diet Coke spot (as asst editor) that ended up in the 1985 Super bowl. This taught me about energy and vision. Pacing. Build. Impact. Essence.
January 3, 1987, while dropping off a demo at a NYC major record label, I suddenly and unexpectedly was called into their office right off the street: they wanted to discuss their using one of my songs to showcase one of their major Artists who were reuniting as a band again. When asked, the VP of this major label, who I was talking with, refused to tell me the name of this band - except that they were located in England. Six months later, during the summer, I heard a changed version of this song on NYC radio airwaves, and it felt like I'd been shot in the gut. The song "the other band did" went on to make untold millions on world-wide tours. I was bluntly told by a guitar teacher / friend, "If you have talent to be ripped off, keep going, because there must be more."
In 1992, I won a BMI Songwriting / Producing Award (one of 20 entries out of 5000). I had written a letter to BMI including stream of consciousness thoughts on the future of music / what music means to me: the idea of collaboration, the passion of creating songs from stone, using words / ideas to describe hits of a drum, exploring / defining the soul of the guitar, the cry of the vocals.
At the edge of the New Millenium / 2000, I created Liquid Fusion (R) Records.
To gain credibility, showcase Artists / Songs, further experience, contacts, and even knowledge through their excellent seminars (NY Chapter), I joined the GRAMMY AWARDS - as a media company for the Record Label Liquid Fusion (R) - with Full Voting Member status ( Producer / Engineer Wing) for myself and co-producer, Rob Visciano (Kitchen Band). Together, we've worked extensively on many rock / blues based projects (audio / video). More Grammy Voting Members will soon to be on the way from Liquid Fusion (R).
How it Works: the vision of Liquid Fusion (R) remains simple and powerful. The Artist is King. At our heart and soul: cross-collaboration of rich talents - with depth. At present, I'm looking to raise investment capital (or raise cash on my own via trading stock options during the day) to take the label where it needs to go. If you are serious about effecting the world and influencing the spirit of music, let us know. We need deep capital to take us where we need to go.
Note: We have many "Guest Artists" that join to perform with the Liquid Fusion (R) Band - who can change to exclusive status with the correct infusion of capital. The time is right for music that has something to say at its heart and core. If you like the Songs and Artists, tell your friends!! Keep coming back!! Pass it on!!!! Need great authentic music in your films? Commercials? Word of mouth carries your message far. Our music's impact has a very long echo. We can change your world.Sincerely,
